Memorise Mentor is a Quran memorization and personal development program. This program offers the complete system that will help you memorize the entire Quran and help you become the version of yourself that is needed for the journey.
The Memorise Mentor program works by providing students with daily, weekly, and monthly goals and check-ins. Each student can progress at their own pace while being part of a collective group. Instruction is provided through written, audio, and video learning. Program Components include:
Due to the personalized and intensive nature of any Quran memorization or mentoring program, there are limited seats available in the Memorise Mentor program. Once the available seats are filled, the program registration will be closed. All seats will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students wishing to secure a seat should complete their registration as soon as possible.
The Memorise Mentor program is exclusively conducted online through a multi-faceted approach. Students learn and interact through multiple avenues of information delivery and points of contact, including online live class sessions, individual reading appointments with instructors, WhatsApp student groups, audio- and video-based curriculum and learning tools.
Memorise Mentor provides daily and weekly interaction and communication between students and instructors, through multiple points of contact. With daily audio/video interaction, live class sessions using our Zoom platform, individual reading appointments with instructors, and ongoing peer-to-peer communication, students are never alone or isolated.
The weekly individual reading appointment is a customized, one-to-one meeting between student and instructor, through which the student’s memorization progress and personal growth is tracked and evaluated. In addition, the program’s five-step Retain system is a proven, easy-to-follow system that lets the student set the pace for their memorization, under the guidance of their qualified instructor. The Retain system has been used by 100s of students across the globe to successfully memorize the Quran in a virtual learning environment.
The goal is to create a consistent time and relationship with the Quran. Along with the weekly live class sessions, learning tools and activities, and individual reading sessions, a student is expected to give time to the Quran each day. That time will vary depending on your pace and level. Some students will start off with 2 hours a week and work their way up to a consistent 1 hour a day, however this will vary for each student’s personal situation.
The program begins with memorization of a half page a week and builds up to one page a week in the first year. As you master the memorization techniques, the pace will increase while you maintain consistency in memorization and revision.
Students will review and revise during their individual reading sessions with their instructor. These one-on-one sessions will provide students with guidance, support, specialized memorization techniques, revision schedules, and other tools including how to revise during salah, while traveling, or when unable to pray.
Each student’s progress is based on their personal goals, time commitment, and proficiency. However, the program is designed to allow students to complete their memorisation of the Quran within 60 months.
In order to join the Memorise Mentor program, students must be able to to recite Quran proficiently with proper pronunciation. Any student who has completed the Quran Revolution Year Two Program is eligible to join. Program applicants who have not completed Quran Revolution Year Two will be asked to submit samples of their recitation to determine eligibility.
The online, live session with Imam Wisam is tentatively scheduled for Tuesdays at 4 PM US Eastern time. All live sessions will be recorded and recordings will be posted to the course website for students to view. One-on-one reading sessions will be offered on multiple days and times to accommodate students from varying time zones.
The Memorise Mentor Instructors are a highly skilled and experienced group of teachers that have been hand-picked by Imam Wisam. These are individuals who know and love their craft, who are excellent reciters of Quran, and who are gifted and intuitive teachers. The Instructors and Imam Wisam together will deliver memorization lessons and listen to students’ completed lessons (sabaq). Depending on schedule and availability, female instructors may be available for one-on-one reading sessions.
Memorise Mentor offers a 30-day money back guarantee, based on the date of the initial registration and payment. Any student who wishes to cancel their subscription within the first thirty days may do so without any penalty and they will receive a full refund of their first month’s payment. Memorise Mentor payments are charged monthly based on a 12-month subscription. Once the 30-day money back period has expired, any student who wishes to discontinue their program membership must send a written email notification to memorisementor@aqlu.org. Refunds will only be issued for the current month’s payment.
This program is not recommended for children or teens due to the strong focus on personal development and mentoring. Personal development topics comprise half of the curriculum and young children/teens typically are not able to fully grasp and benefit from these topics. Children and teens are invited to use our Memorise Portal for self-guided memorisation videos.
